Seven minutes from the Greek Theatre & Dodger Stadium, barbrix restaurant and wine bar, is tucked in the crest of the quiet Silver Lake Hills. Cozy and sleek, and set in a 1940s house, it has a “home away from home” feel with polished wood floors and tables, a comfortable square bar with seating on all sides, a quiet outdoor patio, and special "kitchen counter" seating in where diners can watch chef Don Dickman (formerly of Roccca) whip up his Mediterranean inspired, market driven small plate fare. Gourmet Magazine says, “Service is particularly friendly and attentive," Claudio Blotta’s (La Terza & Campanile) wine list is “extremely fairly priced,” and “Blotta and his wife Adria Tennor, have a way of waving hi to every diner as if they’ve known them forever.”
