The first Zankou Chicken was opened in 1962 in the heart of Beirut, Lebanon by Vartkes Iskenderian and his family. The mission was simple – to share with the community the delicious family chicken recipe and secret garlic sauce. As the restaurant's Mediterranean menu grew, so did its customers and it wasn't long before Zankou Chicken's homemade dishes made the restaurant a household name.Our food is 100% natural and we have made a strong commitment to keep it that way. It is prepared fresh every day in our kitchens by using only the finest ingredients. We will never use cans, freezers, microwave ovens, preservatives, or artificial ingredients. Our delicious chicken is all natural and delivered to us daily. Our beef is 100% USDA Choice and of the finest quality. Our bread is baked fresh every morning.
